Chickasha Public Library Free Summer Reading Program

June 1 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Children Free Summer Reading ProgramThis program is every Thursday throughout June & July. Youth ages 6 – 12 keep track of the minutes they spend reading at home with a free reading log and stickers that they receive when they sign up. They bring their logs in and can get prizes based on minutes they read. There is two sessions for this age group one from 10:00 am to 11:00 am or one from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Youth can attend either time slot throughout the summer. However, the sessions are the same, so they can only attend one session on each Thursday. This year’s theme is “Build a Better World,” what better way to do that than by encouraging children to read. The program can also help students maintain the skills they have learned over the school year.  For more information on the summer reading program (click here).

During each program, an adult will read a book aloud; there will be games, crafts, and lots of fun.

It is not to late sign up you can sign up at one of the programs or come to the library at any time to get signed up.

For more information or questions, please call the library at 405-222-6075.
