SUMMER READING COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES FOR 2025:
Chickasha Animal Shelter Donations. List can be found using the QR code below. *This is their Amazon Wish List. You do not have to purchase the number of items listed 9you can click on the item and choose to only purchase 1) or you can use the list to get an idea of things to bring in from other stores or home. They can always use old towels and blankets, cleaning supplies and old dog/cat toys, collars and leashes. Monetary donations are also welcome.
Chickasha Soup Kitchen Donations. Any nonperishable food items.
Giving Back Book Swap. You can donate children/teen books for our Book cart Summer Giveaways. or you can bring a book and swap it for one from the cart.
CANDY OUR WORLD. Candy Our World is our partnership program. We are partnering with Rock Island Candy Co. this summer. You can stop by the library and pick up a coloring sheet and then turn it at Rock Island Candy Co. for a sweet treat. (Copies @ the bottom of this page if you want to print the coloring sheet from home.)
