The Art of Breaking Things : Tear Art @ 2pm
This art is all about using torn bits of paper to create different shapes. In Japan, the art of tearing paper to create a collage is called Chigirie. No other material except paper and glue is used to create this art.

Color Our World Kiddos Korner Chickasaw Nation Storytellers 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M.
The storytellers of the Chickasaw were and are some of the most revered citizens of the Nation. For centuries, their stories reminded people of who they were, why they existed and where their place was within the universe. Stories, songs and prayers came to life through the power of words. Through them, we can still hear the voices of our ancestors recounting what is sacred and what is history.

COLOR OUR WORLD Kiddos' Korner "I Survived" book club meeting for kiddos' ages 6-11.  Call for exceptions. We will read and discuss a different book in the 'I Survived" series by Lauren Tarshis every month. There will also be activities to go along with the book and a mini history lesson. 
 ** This month we will be discussing I Survived the Joplin Tornado, 2011 . 
Kiddos will pick-up I Survived the Great Chicago Fire, 1871 .

Monthly Teen Time book club meeting for Teens/Tweens ages 12-17
