Dear Book Patrons,

The library has received many excellent book donations in the last couple of years. These donations have been popular authors, current titles, in excellent condition. This has allowed the library to replace many worn copies with fresh, good looking ones for lots of continued reading without the expense to the library of purchasing new copies thus allowing for new titles to be purchased. In just the last two months, July and August, the donations that the library has utilized is just over $1,000, and last year was well over $2,000. Here’s a great big thank you to you wonderful donors. Your donations impact the community. The library is truly a community endeavor. The donated books that the library do not need at this time will go to the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale this October and the money from the sale goes directly toward the purchase of new books. I better get busy ordering new books. Remember if we don’t have a title you want you may place a request for it and I’ll do my best to get it for you.

THANK YOU!!
Lillie Huckaby
Library Director
